Baby Food Grinder

What age did you start your baby on 1st stage baby food? My son is almost (in a few days) 5 months old (I know its a little early but he eats so much formula, I thought I might try and see how he takes it, and maybe supplement a bottle or two with the baby food) and I’ve started giving it to him, and he was doing really well until I gave him carrots. I think that may have constipated him. So when did you start feeding your baby the 1st stage baby foods, and what foods did they like or dislike, or had negative reactions to?
