Baby Food Grinder

I have a seven month old baby and the doctor recently put him on baby food. We’ve been feeding him a 4 oz jar of food every day. Is that too much? Not enough? Or is that about right? If so, should I feed him the whole jar at once or half in the morning and half at night? Or a third of the jar three times a day? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He is just now 6 months and I’ve started him on 2nd stage food veggies and fruits, but I wasn’t sure how long I need to wait until I start with the baby foods that mix in meats. Thanks!
