Kids Develop Tastes in the Womb

Posted by: Baby Food Grinder  /  Category: baby food grinder

It’s generally accepted that if you feed your baby a wide range of different tasting food, then he or she is more likely to enjoy those tastes as an adult. However it appears that the influence on baby taste buds starts a lot earlier – in the womb. A study published in The Journal of Physiology reveals the long term effect of food imprinting. The Good Food Habits article at Time Magazine also mentions that portable food mills are a key tool to help expand baby tastes.

Was a baby food mill/grinder useful for you?

Posted by: Baby Food Grinder  /  Category: baby food grinder, baby food questions

I have a 7 month old baby, and we do a lot of traveling around the countryside of China. Do you think a food mill would be useful for me? Also, how long would I need to grind up my baby’s food for? For example, when the baby is one year old, do they still need their food grind up? I’m just wondering if it’s a good investment. Thanks for giving me advice.

Opinions on baby food mill vs. a blender?

Posted by: Baby Food Grinder  /  Category: baby food mill, baby food questions

Just wondering what the benefits of a baby food mill are and how well they work. I don’t have a blender either and wondered if it would be difficult to purée small portions well. What about a wand-type mixer?

I’ve tried mashing veggies with a fork and it’s not fine enough (baby gags and sometimes vomits). I need to mush it up better and would like some advice about the type of equipment to use. He’s currently eating baby food from a jar and I’d like to make it fresh. Thanks!

Differences between baby food grinder and mill?

Posted by: Baby Food Grinder  /  Category: baby food grinder, baby food mill, baby food questions

What else do you need to make home baby food besides food grinder? How do you steam it? Do they sell the thing for steaming baby food? And storage?

If possible, could you list everything we need to have to make baby food?

My baby is only 3 months, I don’t mean to feed him now but I’d love to know all the tips to make him food by myself. I’m 1st time mom can’t wait till I feed him solid food I’m so excited :)

Thanks!
