Posted by: Baby Food Grinder  /  Category: baby food questions

I have been feeding my little boy solids since he was about 5 months old, he is now 9 months and he will hardly eat any baby food! Mayber 1/2 a jar to 3/4 a jar a day, plus rice cereal in his night bottle. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get him to eat more? I am a breast feeding working mother and I pump at work, however, my milk supply is getting lower and lower and I would like to start him on more solids. Thanks for anybody’s helpful hints!

My daughter doesn’t want to eat the jars of baby food anymore. What are some lunch ideas I can pack so she can take to her daycare, other than the Gerber Graduates microwavable lunches, soups, etc? How old was your baby when they could feed themselves small pieces of food?

Posted by: Baby Food Grinder  /  Category: baby food questions

My son is 7.5 months old and can feed himself a cracker, but he needs to be fed smaller pieces of food. Today I gave him avocado cut up into small pieces and he would try and pick up as many pieces he could in each hand, but never tried to put any in his mouth. He ended up picking up six pieces in one hand. He had a great time smashing it all up and making a big mess, but didn’t try to feed himself any of it. How old was your baby when they could feed themselves small pieces of food like that?
