baby food questions
My son is 8 months old. We give him Gerber cereal and jarred food. No matter what he eats he rubs his eyes and face (as if they itch) shortly after he starts eating. Could this be some sort of allergy? If so, what can I feed him? Anyone had the same problem?

I’m not talking about tablets or medicines here.
What would be considered as a good food with a high nutrition value for a pregnant mother? Some home remedy or recipe for the mother & unborn child?
Thanks in advance!

My baby is seven months old and she has been eating just the vegetable baby foods and her formula. She has quite a few bottles a day, I don’t know exactly how much, but she only eats one jar of her baby food, is that enough? If not, how much is recommended? And which meats are good starting ones?

My daughter is 7 months old, and I want to start giving her more food, either jar or homemade and start cutting down her formula consumption. How much do I cut the formula down to and how much food do I give her?

My daughter has just turned 5 months and I want to start solids but I don’t know what order I should be doing it? Is there a particular order to introduce solid food?

Food aversion seems to be the hot topic with pregnancy. From sushi, undercooked meat, Chinese food, peanuts. I get sick of the paranoia about food.
Everything is safe in moderation. Most doctors will even tell you that an occasional alcoholic drink is ok. I’ve taken food safety courses and can tell you that I’d be more careful with a plate of cut fruit that has been sitting out than a plate of sushi that was served to me.
So why is there such paranoia about certain types of food and pregnancy?

My daughter is 7 1/2 months old and has the pincer grasps. She picks it up very well. She’s been eating baby food since 4 months and she eats puffs, yoghurt melts (cut in half). I still get nervous when she eats puffs lol but its the generic one because those are half the size of gerber. I know shes suppose to be bottle fed until 1 year.

What did you feed your infant when they got old enough for solids? I don’t want to feed her our dinners because they have salt or other herbs. If I only give her a little sauce can she have spaghetti? What about olives and stuff. I already know I can give her green beans I just wanted a larger variety. Also she won’t eat any of the meat baby food so I worry she isn’t getting enough protein.

My baby just turned 9 months. Doc said to start table food and gave some recommendations. She has been on stage 2 and has had some Gerber snack foods. How did you make the transition? Can you give me examples of what you fed your baby for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks? Thanks!

My pediatrician advised to start with one kind of food and better yet one color. Bananas, Squash then Green Beans and Peas, but I want to know what food is better received for the baby’s bland taste.
