Numerous people have told me either only baby food, or start with real fruits or steamed vegetables and such. What is your take on this? What have you introduced to your little ones?
Also I heard you can buy a little food mesh thing that looks like a pacifier, and you put fruit or vegetables in to introduce foods so they don’t choke. Have any of you tried this?

If you make your own baby food, I would like to know what kind of food processor you have found that works best to puree food. Please don’t tell me to get the Magic Bullet. It’s too small. I’m making large amounts of food (like 6 large sweet potatoes, 2 pounds of peas, etc).

He is just now 6 months and I’ve started him on 2nd stage veggies and fruits, but I wasn’t sure how long I need to wait until I start with mixing meat in with his baby food. Thanks!

I need some ideas. I just want her to be very healthy and I have heard food is the first step. We try to do as much organic as we can. Any ideas on the food/meals I could make her? What are some foods with omega three and six?

My son was throwing up food from Friday night and I put him on fluids alone until around 8 Sunday night. He had some rice cereal and banana for dinner yesterday, breakfast and lunch today. What else can I give him after a stomach flu? Doctor has said no to dairy. Yoghurts are fine? How about some chicken noodle?

I don’t want to be the too busy mom who warms up mac and cheese or spaghetti O’s for her little one. I want him to have healthy meals to set him up to make healthy decisions later on. I’m just running out of ideas for him. He won’t be one until September, but he already is through with me spoon feeding him. Also, I’m so used to watching how much he eats by reading the ounces posted on the side of the baby food jar. How do you know how much food to give a pre-toddler?

It’s my second son’s first birthday soon and I need some ideas for food and games. At my eldest son’s first birthday I was heavily pregnant so we didn’t do to much, so now I dont know what to do. The age range between the children coming is 7 months to 5 years, I have games like pass the parcel and pin the tail on the donkey and a pinata, but need more. Any ideas?

My almost 2 year old thinks it’s hilarious to spill milk and other food items on himself and others. He doesn’t want a sippy cup anymore and wants to use a regular cup. I try not to be alarmed when he does this but he laughs himself silly anyways. Help!

My grandson was born 2 months premature. He has a mouth full of teeth but will not eat solid food. He gags or spits the food out. Also he will not pick up food to put in his mouth. I have never seen a baby who did not put things in his mouth before. He is in Early Steps because he was premature. The Early Steps people are quite concerned about his refusal to eat solid food. His pediatrician seemed unconcerned. An evaluation was done and he shows some developmental delay. Any suggestions would be helpful.
