What kind of food cravings did you have while you were pregnant?
Posted by: Baby Food Grinder / Category: baby food questionsWith my son I craved a peach pie one night sooo bad, I had to have my husband go to store and buy a frozen one. I also craved the salad bar from Mazzio’s Pizza. With my daughter I wanted Mexican food all the time. Just wanted to know what some of the other mothers out there craved?

Mmm peachs sound great right about now
I had different cravings with each pregnancy.
With my first it was: Pizza, Japanese food, and sauerkraut.
With my second it was chocolate and tres leche cake.
Lately I’ve been craving brocoli, I sat and ate an entire 1lb bag. And chocolate.

Bakery cookies with the big glob of icing in the center. Weird non-food stuff too like I wanted to drink gasoline because it smelled so good. Obviously I didn’t. STRANGE!!!!!!

Omgosh I am 19 weeks pregnant and just like with my daughter I cannot get enought slushies or Icees. I am holding myself to one a week but I could pound one every day if I allowed myself. Also as soon as I was pregnant coffe tasted like dirt so my one cup a day has been replaced with cocoa. Yum.

I loved eating lollies, lollies and more lollies, the sugary the better, luckily my gestational diabetes test came back negative, because I was so sure I would have it with the amount of sugary crap I was eating. Pregnancy does strange things to a woman.

I have 4 kids and with each one I craved something different. With the 1st one I wanted watermelon so bad. My husband bought a couple at a time so he wouldn’t have to go out in the middle of the night. With my second child I craved ice cream. My husband and I would always get the kind on sale. Maybe 4 cartoons of it. lol. With my 3rd child I craved mac and cheese. I could have ate it 5 times a week if my husband would let me! And with my 4 child I craved doughnuts. Yum. We had so many boxes in my house. The only problem was that my other children were getting older and they liked them to!

Pineapple – I couldn’t get enough of it. Fresh was best but, I also had cans in reserve! It wasn’t until much later, I found out that pineapple is a natural antacid. Yay to mothernature. Happy days.
