I love this book. It cut through all the clutter and provided a really easy to follow but thorough roadmap for the first year. From recipes to allergies, it’s all covered.

This book sheds clear light on the all-important issue of how to feed your child. As a new mom you can get so overwhelmed by all the advice you read and hear from well-intentioned friends but this book helps you make sense of it all and make good informed decisions for your baby. The author is never preachy and she never makes you feel as though there is only one path to take. Instead she provides reliable, tested information that makes feeding your baby less complicated and even fun! I love the fun look of the book too.

I wish I’d had something like this when my boys were young! I’ve always put a big emphasis on good nutrition, but there were many times when I could have used some good-natured, reliable guidance such as you find in “The Baby Bistro”. Christina Schmidt manages to combine informed, sensible advice with a lovely dose of playfulness. I am buying a stack of these to give away — a great shower gift and a wonderful little surprise gift to anyone who faces the delightful challenge of feeding toddlers and little ones.
Highly recommended!

This book is truly a lifesaver. Instead of running out and loading up on the hundreds of baby food jars and plastic containers, I can make this at home when I am preparing meals for my other family members. The recipes are delicious and everything is fresh and organic, just the way I like it. I have tasted baby food in a jar and it does not taste good. I wouldn’t think twice about eating any of these recipes.
