This book has a lot of great recipes but if you’re looking for information on how to feed your baby when and how much, you won’t find it here. Also, the recipes are broken down by age, for example, 6 months and older, which is confusing to me because some of these recipes have ingredients that I know a 6 month old can’t eat yet. It would be better if the recipes where for babies 6-9 months or something like that.

If you steam foods regularly, this is probably too basic, but it was a good starting point for me when it came to cooking times and food combinations. I agree with other reviews that the author introduces some foods earlier than normally recommended, but I just came back to those later. Overall, it is a simple and basic book for someone who is interested but does not know where to start. Three stars because it’s average; I would have given more if I had received it as a gift and not spent money on it.
